Marry Me Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
Dry Ingredients

370 g all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients

2 sticks unsalted butter (melted and cooled)

200 g brown sugar

133 g granulated sugar

2 egg yolks
-
1.5 tsp vanilla extract

140 g sourdough discard

Chocolate chips (as desired)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt) in a bowl and set aside.

Melt the butter and set it aside to cool slightly.

In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg yolks, vanilla extract, and sourdough discard. Mix until smooth.

Add the melted butter to the sugar mixture. Mix well.

Gradually stir in the dry ingredients and chocolate chips until just combined.

Scoop dough onto a baking sheet.

Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes, or until edges are golden and centers are just set.

Let cool on the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
